These series are about our relentless search for something in our lifetimes, whether is something tangible or not. Although the painting is very objective, usually women reaching for mushrooms in rather uncomfortable positions, it is actually describing a deeper meaning. It could well be us looking for answers to questions we all have and many times cannot or are hard to find, reach or accept.

A canvas in predominant shades of green, yellow and purple. This is a square mid-size (34 x 32 inches) oil painting on a stretched canvas titled “Balance II.” Canvas is stretched on wooden strips and is ready for framing or to be displayed as is. This painting is signed ‘cherres’ in the lower left corner.
